MSR Guardian Water Purifier

The Guardian Purifier from MSR is a self-cleaning and enduring water purification system that will cover all your bases on your overseas or isolated expeditions.

The Guardian uses a hollow fibre cartridge, which is effective against viruses, bacteria, protozoa and particulate – so you don’t need to use further treatment.

Originally designed to be used for the military, this technology has been honed to make it a simple solution for those exploring remote areas. This unit has an advanced hollow fibre filter, that will reliably treat up to 10,000+ litres of water before it needs a replacement.  

This filter will self-clean with every stroke which helps the flow rate to be consistent and eliminates the need to ever backflush or scrub the filter. With a rate of 2.5 litres of water per minute, this system allows you to quickly and efficiently treat water for a larger group of people.
